About Kortney Wilson
Kortney Wilson is the co-host and lead designer of HGTV's hit TV show, MASTERS OF FLIP and MAKING IT HOME. She is currently in production for her new show, LIFE IS MESSY If you ask her to describe her life, she would say, “It's organized chaos. It's not perfect but the good far outweighs the bad. I’m winging it, most days.”
Born in Canada, she grew up singing and dancing with her eye on a country music career.
At eighteen, she decided to try her hand in Music City, and within two months of moving to Nashville, she signed a deal with Disney's country label, Lyric Street Records. Music led her to many things, including investing in real estate in her early twenties. From there it was a logical transition to flipping houses and then flipping houses on the small screen on her own HGTV show, Masters of Flip.
Kortney also founded Kort & Co in 2019 and continues to grow the line of affordable and stylish products available across Canada and the US. After 6 years of filming Masters of Flip, Kort is beyond thrilled to be bringing her expertise to viewers across North America in her latest HGTV Canada series, Making It Home which also airs on HULU.
Kortney started a successful real estate team in Nashville TN ten years ago and has combined her love for houses with her love for empowering people to maximize their real estate investments. When she's not wearing the title of Realtor, TV Show Host, Author, and Founder of Kort & Co, she’s volunteering for several charities and throwing parties for organizations and friends in her community.
